On 18-19th May, DIGI-TEXX Vietnam was honored to be a part of the event organized by the People’s Committee of Hau Giang province in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA). The event is delighted to have the participation of Nguyen Huy Dung – Deputy Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam, and Nguyen Hoang Giang – Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.
The event was packed with breakthrough innovations where we shared our vision, plans, and aspirations for the Mekong Delta region. As a foreign investor, we are beyond thrilled to be at the forefront of training and creating a digital workforce while bringing IT job opportunities to the local community.
Frank Schellenberg – Founder and shareholder of DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM shared the success story of Bavaria, a state in the southeast of Germany. From a developing area to one of the most developed regions in Germany, contributing the highest to other provinces’ development. He wants to see the same breakthrough development in Hau Giang with the investment from DIGI-TEXX.
This year’s Hau Giang Digital Transformation Week has about 100 booths (4 times more than in 2022) with two exhibition areas, including Innovation Startup Zone on the ground floor with more than 40 booths from 50 startups, displaying OCOP (One Commune One Product) products, high-tech agricultural models; The Digital Transformation Zone on the 1st and 2nd floors at the Provincial Convention Center with nearly 50 booths from 60 units inside and outside the province, displaying digital transformation products and solutions in many fields.
During the event, Thomas Hofmaier – DIGI-TEXX’s shareholder, represented the company to present scholarships for the Department of Education and Training of Hau Giang Province. We embrace the upcoming challenges, unlock the opportunities, and build a future where technology transforms lives and fosters sustainable development.
Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of HCA, said Hau Giang is facing various difficulties, however, it has achieved many good results through outstanding growth in GRDP and socio-economic indicators. The key reason for the success of the province is digital transformation and IT applications applied for the major industries in the region.
